The East Cape is Los Cabos before the resorts: a string of beach towns on the Sea of Cortez north of San José. Los Barriles fills with kitesurfers when the winter wind blows; Cabo Pulmo’s protected reef is the best diving in Baja; summer south swells wrap into the point breaks along the coast road.
